Best Multi Bet for ATP Finals This Week

Day three of the ATP Finals is here already. The Ilie Nastase Group is back in action again on Tuesday, with Jannik Sinner and Taylor Fritz squaring off for a spot in the semi-finals, while Daniil Medvedev and Alex de Minaur look to avoid early elimination. Read on for our multi betting recommendations on all the day’s action!

Jannik Sinner vs Alex de Minaur

Palasport Olimpico, 13 November, 6:30am AEDT

Sinner vs Fritz over 19.5 @ 1.85 (bet365)

Jannik Sinner and Taylor Fritz both won their opening matches at the 2024 ATP Finals, and will now face each other in a match that will determine who will move on to the semi-final.

The two haven’t played too many times in the past, but the most recent meeting was a notable one: the US Open final, where the Italian was able to beat Fritz in straight sets.

The matchup, however, showed us that it can be quite close depending on how well Fritz plays. He didn’t play that well in that final, but he looked really good in the first match here in Turin.

If he brings his best level here, we might get a close match. The main reason we’re backing this, however, is the serve of the American, which can do a lot of damage. If he keeps well behind it as he did against Daniil Medvedev in his opener, he might just do enough to push this past the number of games.

Something like a 7-5, 6-4 win for Sinner looks very reasonable as we do think that the Italian will win the match in the end.

Sinner vs Fritz 2-0 @ 1.53 (bet365)

Similar to the pick we made above, this bet just makes sense at Australian bookmakers.

Fritz will be able to hit his serve unbothered and in a situation like that, the Italian will likely struggle to break down the American too much. We still, however, think he will be able to get it done and we actually think he’ll do it in straight sets.

Fritz is a good player but eventually, he will have to play rallies against Sinner. That’s where the Italian dominates and has dominated for a very long time so ultimately, we don’t think Fritz will win or even win a set.

The stakes of the match only make it more likely for Sinner to win. He has a phenomenal tiebreak record in 2024, so even if Fritz holds serve, that’s no guarantee of victory.

Taylor Fritz vs Daniil Medvedev

Palasport Olimpico, 13 November, 12am AEDT

Medvedev to beat De Minaur @ 1.66 (bet365)

This matchup is very straightforward: it’s sudden death. Both of these players lost their first matches at the ATP Finals so essentially, they need to win to keep themselves in the running. Whoever loses is out of the event and that’s why it matters.

While De Minaur can be a tough matchup for Medvedev on paper, we do think that the Russian will be able to handle the Australian this time.

There are a lot of question marks about De Minaur and where he is physically, and Medvedev simply seems like the better player overall. He’s played at the ATP Finals before and he played pretty well, so we simply think that he’ll be able to get it done when it matters the most.

This will be a good experience for De Minaur but likely a bit too much at the end of a career-best season.
