The Gabba will be packed full of excited Aussies looking forward to the bumper summer of cricket ahead. Brisbane Heat will be looking to get off to a win in front of their home crowd, while the Stars will be trying to better their last campaign of just 3 wins.

Ensure to take this bet with the ‘same game multi’ function, as we will look to add another big-priced selection in combination!  Munro has been selected for top Brisbane batter as he will take the onus to keep the run rate high with his aggressive nature. 

 It is likely that he will either win this market very quickly and comfortably or put us out of our misery very soon. A Bang or bust type player! At this price with Bet365  I think he is definitely worth a play.

Glenn Maxwell Top Melbourne Stars Bat @ 3.50 with Bet365 

I’m not sure there is any need for stats and reasoning for this one. He will have to carry the Stars on his back this season, a role which he has often played for Australia in times of struggle.  

The batters around him are simply a league apart from his level and the form that the ‘Big Show’ is currently in, I would not bet against him to rack up a big total. The benefit with this bet is that a score of around 40-50 could be a winner because of the Stars fragility in batting.  

Sydney Cricket Ground, 8:15AM 

Sydney Most Fours @ 1.72 

I am keen on this bet because of the Sixers having a strong list of four hitters across their batting line up. Players such as Vince, Smith, Patterson and Hughes are all four hitters.  

Sixers also score at an average of 8.05 runs per over at the SCG, but concede only 7.8 runs per over. Therefore, Sixers should have a good chance of scoring a higher number of runs than the Renegades which will give this bet a stronger chance of winning.
