BBL Multibets of the Week 18-12-23

Matt Short Top Adelaide Batsman @ 3.60 with PlayUp 

Matt Short is potentially the most reliable batsman in the current Strikers team, due to Lynn playing less cricket nowadays and D’arcy Short is in very poor form. This price we have found looks to be slightly generous and holds certain value to be combined in a multibet.  

He averages a strike rate of over 141 at Adelaide Oval across 29 matches, this proves that he can score his runs very quickly which is ideal for this bet.    

Colin Munro Top Brisbane Batter @ 3.55 with PlayUp 

Munro is on for the hatrick, he has landed this market 2 matches in a row for us. We hope to make it 3 and this price looks great value to bet in this week’s multibet. So far, he has proved that he is head and shoulders above the other Brisbane batsman. The pitch at Manuka Oval was not easy and Munro managed to score 17 runs more than the second highest team scorer which was another comfortable on the market.

Perth To Win @ 1.52 with PlayUp 

To round off our multibet this week, we have the simple play of backing Perth to beat Hobart at their fortress - Optus Stadium. 

Perth won 81% of their group matches last season, becoming eventual champions at their home ground. Hobart, won just 42% of their matches which shows a clear mismatch between the two. The Perth side are very well-suited to their home conditions, players such as Behrendorff, Tye and Jhye Richardson are at their very best in home conditions. Expect to see early wickets tumble from the bowling of Behrendorff and Richardson. I think this is a healthy price that bumps up our multibet price very nicely!
