BetGalaxy is yet another new Aussie betting site, having only been founded in 2022. Like most new bookmakers, there are certainly some areas for them to work on, but a strong commitment to customer support and a quality website design provides punters with plenty of reason to check out their self-termed “out of this world” betting experience!

BetGalaxy Strengths and Weaknesses
Every betting site has its strengths and weaknesses, and for new bookmakers there is often a fair bit of crossover in what these are. BetGalaxy is no different. Below, we’ve taken a look at the most significant strengths of this new bookie, as well as the areas they most need to work on.
✔️Betgalaxy Strengths
- Quality Online Customer Support: It’s relatively common for new betting sites to focus on their customer support platform; after all, if they can’t provide a seamless betting experience for new punters, what’s to keep them from hanging around? BetGalaxy is no different, providing quick and helpful responses on their live chat, as well as an email option.
- Excellent website design: Online betting sites in Australia don’t tend to have all that much variation in their website design, so it’s refreshing to see a fresh-looking website. They very much play into the ‘galaxy’ theme, with a spacey background and imagers of UFOs and aliens dotted across the home page, as you can see in the image below.
- Good mobile app: BetGalaxy have wasted no time developing a mobile app – a good move, given how popular they are among punters. The BetGalaxy app is a lot like the website both in appearance and functionality, providing a seamless platform for their customers.
❌Betgalaxy Weaknesses
- Limited range of markets: This is a pretty common one for new betting sites. They don’t often have the resources to create odds for nearly as many things as their bigger opposition, and BetGalaxy Australia is no different. At the time of writing, there are only nine sports with odds available, less than half what some of their competitors offer.
- Average odds: This is another common theme among new betting sites, who aren’t quite able to afford the quality odds offered by the biggest betting sites. BetGalaxy certainly isn’t the worst in this regard; the odds they offer are competitive with plenty of other Aussie bookmakers, but they’re certainly not the best either.
- No live streaming: Live streaming is becoming increasingly common across different betting sites, though it’s still not exactly the first area of focus for new bookies. BetGalaxy don’t yet offer live streaming of anything, so if you’re hoping to watch sport or racing on your betting site you won’t be able to do it here.
👨⚖️Betgalaxy Final Verdict
Overall, the strengths and weaknesses of BetGalaxy are very much representative of a new betting site. If you’re looking for great odds and heaps of markets then you’d be better off looking at a more established bookmaker, but those things will hopefully improve over time, and for now, BetGalaxy Australia has a great website and app, and good customer support, to hang their hat on.
BetGalaxy Score
Betting Variety ⭐⭐⭐
This is one area that BetGalaxy could certainly improve on, with only a relatively limited range of different sports available to bet on
Banking Options ⭐⭐⭐
Another area in which BetGalaxy could improve, their only deposit options are debit card and bank transfer
Mobile experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The mobile experience with BetGalaxy is a really good one, with a quality and streamlined mobile app enabling punters to bet with this betting site on the go
Payout Speed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The payout speed is fine with BetGalaxy, with funds generally returned to your betting account relatively quickly.
Security ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
No problems here either; BetGalaxy provides a secure betting platform and is governed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission.
Betting Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The overall betting experience with BetGalaxy is a really good one, with a good website and solid customer support a major reason why.
Customer Support ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a strength of BetGalaxy courtesy largely of their live chat, though they could jump up to five stars by either making a phone number available, or increasing the live chat hours.

BetGalaxy Review
As a new player to the saturated betting industry, it’s no surprise that BetGalaxy Australia has a few things to work on. But despite that, they’ve laid a really solid foundation and have the potential to provide another solid betting option for punters.
The basis of that foundation is a great website and mobile app, both of which provide an aesthetic difference to most competitors with a spacey theme in line with their self-claimed “out of this world” betting experience – all part of the Galaxy-based marketing strategy they’ve gone for.
Of course, a pleasing aesthetic means nothing without functionality, but fortunately BetGalaxy have ticked that box. Their website is really easy to use, loading quickly and smoothly, and the same can be said for their app. The latter of these in particular is important, given that many betting sites – particularly new ones – have apps which can be quite clunky and difficult to use.
They’ve also got a good customer support platform, which is another thing that is often a feature of new websites. This is a good way to demonstrate a dedication to customers, which is necessary given they haven’t yet had the chance to build up the same level of trust as some of the more experienced bookmakers.
The way that they do this is through live chat and email. Unfortunately they don’t have a phone number available, which certainly leaves some room for improvement, but for me live chat is comfortably the simplest way to contact a bookmaker, but despite that it’s not always available. With BetGalaxy Australia, it is, from 10am to 10pm, giving you a quick and straightforward way to have any queries answered.
But while BetGalaxy performs strongly in the areas of customer support and their mobile app and website, there are, of course, some areas in which they can improve. Their range of markets is certainly one; the list of sports they have available is relatively slim, and the betting options that you have for individual games isn’t particularly flash. This means that if you are looking for things like player props you might struggle, but for head to heads, line betting or racing, BetGalaxy Australia will have what you need.
The odds they offer are certainly not a strength, but at the same time they’re better than what many other new bookmakers offer. As an example, check out the screenshot from an upcoming NFL game below.
The handicap is a good way to suss out the quality of a betting sites’ odds, because they’ll generally be roughly equal for both teams. The best bookmaker odds will be at around $1.91 or maybe occasionally $1.92, while others can drop as low as $1.88 or $1.87. That BetGalaxy sits at $1.90 means that while they’re certainly not at the top of the pile, they’re doing pretty well.
There are, however, a couple of other areas they could work on. They don’t offer live odds at this point, which again is relatively common for new betting sites, so if you like to bet in-play you’ll need to look elsewhere.
They also don’t offer live streaming at this point, so you won’t be able to tune into any racing or sports coverage on the site. Whether this will change in the future remains to be seen, but at this point in time there is no suggestion that it is on the agenda.
But there is plenty of reason to check out BetGalaxy, and if you do decide that you wish to give them a crack then the sign up process is nice and easy. Once you go to deposit funds you will find relatively limited options, but if you just use debit card like me then you’ll have no problems. Likewise with BetGalaxy withdrawals, for which there are relatively few options.
Clearly there are plenty of areas for BetGalaxy to work on, but this is inevitable for a new betting site. What they do well is provide a simple and easy to use website and mobile app as well as a strong customer support platform, and they have decent odds for a new website too. Having only been founded in 2022 they’ve got plenty of scope to improve, and by adding a few more features to their offering they’re well placed to be a competitive player in the industry.
BetGalaxy FAQs
Will BetGalaxy offer live betting in the future?
It’s hard to say. Rarely will a new betting site have live betting straight off the bat, so the fact that they don’t yet offer certainly doesn’t preclude them from having live odds available in the future, but at this point there’s no suggestion of that happening.
Do BetGalaxy offer same game multis?
Unfortunately, no they do not. At this point in time there is no availability of same game multis with BetGalaxy Australia. Again, this may change in the future, but for the time being it isn’t an available feature.
What sports are offered by BetGalaxy?
At the time of writing, there is a relatively slim nine sports on offer; American football, baseball, basketball, cricket, darts, ice hockey, rugby union, soccer and tennis. It is worth bearing in mind, however, that there are a number of sports not being played at the minute for which they will offer odds in season, for example the AFL and the NRL
When can I contact BetGalaxy’s live chat service?
BetGalaxy’s live chat service is a quick and easy way to get in touch with the bookmaker. You can contact them through this medium on the website between the hours of 10am and 10pm East Coast time.
📱BetGalaxy Mobile and App
Now to the mobile section of BetGalaxy – something we’ve touched on earlier throughout the course of this detailed BetGalaxy review, but to which we’ll now devote an entire section.
Already BetGalaxy Australia has a leg up on some of its opposition by virtue of the fact that they have developed a mobile app. Not every betting site does this, with others instead relying on the mobile version of their website; something which, in fairness, typically works reasonably well, but which isn’t generally as good as a well-conceived mobile app.
And that’s exactly what BetGalaxy’s is. It’s funny, there are plenty of areas in which new betting sites can’t really compete with their more established counterparts, but increasingly mobile apps are one area in which those new betting sites are placing more emphasis, perhaps with the recognition that this is the preferred way to bet for plenty of punters these days.
BetGalaxy’s app is easily downloaded by simply heading to wherever it is that you download your apps from, be that on an iOS or an Android device. Once you do download it, simply log in using the details you would on the betting site – or create an account, which you can easily do on the mobile app – and you’ll be ready to get into it.
The app has a review of over 4 stars on the App Store, which is pretty high for a betting site – some of them have very low numbers. Most of the positive reviews outline the sharp graphics and ease of use of the mobile app, though some are critical of the betting site’s overall lower racing odds or lack of markets. That, of course, is nothing to do with the app itself though.
Despite those criticisms, most reviews are really positive, and it’s easy to see why once you download the app. Those references to sharp graphics are spot on; this app looks really good, but more importantly is super easy to jump around to wherever it is that you’re trying to go.
Most importantly, it runs smoothly, and I myself haven’t suffered any glitches, the likes of which I’ve endured plenty on other betting apps. Overall there is plenty to like about this mobile app, and if you’re looking for a quick and easy platforms to place a bet then you could do a hell of a lot worse than the BetGalaxy mobile app.
🏇BetGalaxy Racing
Racing is one area for which the difference between the most established and popular bookmakers and the lesser lights is generally a little bit less obvious. The range of markets, for example, doesn’t really change, with most betting sites offering odds on all Australian meets and plenty of international ones, and the markets for those meets generally pretty similar.
This is certainly the case with BetGalaxy, who’s racing selection is not too far off their more established counterparts. When you first head to the BetGalaxy website, you’ll be greeted by odds for a range of upcoming races, while you can also click through to upcoming meets lower on the page, or take a look at every available meet set to take place over the next few days by clicking one of the racing tabs on the left hand side of the home page.
From there it’s easy to find the race you’re after, with the length of time until the next race at each meet advertised on the racing page. Simply click on the race you’re interested in, and you’ll be greeted by all of the available odds for that race.
On the page for each race, all of the runners’ names are accompanied by their odds, as well as their five most recent flucs – this is a handy thing to have immediately at your disposal as it gives a good indication of where the money is going, and though it’s not exactly unique to BetGalaxy, they do display it a little more proudly than many of their competitors, as you can see below.
If you don’t want to just bet on win/place markets, you can also quickly and easily click through to exotics, which include exacta, quinella, trifecta and first four, as seen on the image above.
One area in which BetGalaxy could improve is by adding a bit more information about runners; often betting sites have a short description of each of them, but this isn’t available at this point in time with BetGalaxy Australia.
Unfortunately, while we did mention earlier on this page that the sports betting odds for BetGalaxy are relatively competitive with the bigger sites, this is not really the case with their racing odds. Their odds for pretty much every runner are a fair bit shorter than the best available, and shorter than most of the other betting sites too.
Overall, the racing section of BetGalaxy is relatively good; it’s certainly easy to access and the presence of the odds fluctuations so prominently makes it easy to see what is an important insight. However, having odds which are shorter than most competitors makes it difficult to justify using them for racing, and this is certainly area that they should look to improve on in the future.
BetGalaxy Best Features
With so many different bookmakers in Australia, a good way for betting sites to stand out from the crowd is through unique features. Often, new betting sites won’t have particularly notable extra features, and that’s the case to an extent with BetGalaxy, but here are a couple of things they do offer which certainly aren’t ubiquitous in the betting industry.
Live chat
It’s a persistent bug bear of mine that not every betting site in Australia offers live chat. To my mind, it’s clearly the most efficient way of getting in touch with a bookmaker; not having to call means that you can do it while you’re in a busy place where the call may not be appropriate, plus you avoid the rigmarole of having to go through an automated process before you talk to someone. Still, it’s something that even some established betting sites don’t offer, so the fact that BetGalaxy, as a very new betting site, has it available, is a big plus. They would get even more poinits for this feature if they made it available 24/7 like some bookmakers do, but a 12-hour window is still plenty of time to get your queries in throughout the course of a day.
Great mobile app
Similar to my aforementioned bug bear about live chat, it’s astounding that some betting sites still don’t have mobile apps available for their customers. Granted it takes time and money to get it developed, but where better to dedicate those resources than to a platform which will make it easier for your punters to place bets with you. Equally, however, some betting sites have developed apps which are so difficult to use they might not exist at all, but fortunately BetGalaxy falls into neither category. Their app is excellent, as good as most of the better ones of the market, most notably because it runs really smoothly and doesn’t really malfunction like a lot of other ones do. The app is one of BetGalaxy’s best features, both because they have one at all but also because it’s so well-conceived.
The above may not be features entirely unique to BetGalaxy, but they are things that aren’t present with all betting sites in Australia. That BetGalaxy offers live chat and has a terrific mobile app are both significant in helping them to get a foothold in a saturated betting industry.
BetGalaxy Sports Coverage
As mentioned throughout this review, BetGalaxy doesn’t have a particularly broad range of sports markets. They do, however, still have plenty for those who are only going to be looking for the more common sports and betting markets. In this section, we’ll take a look at some of the sports they do offer, and the type of markets you’ll be able to find for these sports.
Cricket
With the Cricket World Cup on at the time of writing, now is as popular a time as ever to punt on the cricket, and BetGalaxy has markets for every game throughout the course of the event. As with most of their sports offerings, it’s not quite as thorough a list of markets as you might get with many other betting sites; in fact, you won’t get much beyond the most basic markets. But if you want to bet on a game head to head, on the total amount of runs scored, or even the occasional specific player prop, then they’ll have an option for you, and what’s more they are pretty good odds, particularly for a new betting site.
Basketball
The growth of basketball in Australia has been huge over recent years, thanks largely to the presence of a couple of really good players in the NBA and the continued development of our local league, the NBL. The betting market reflects that growth in popularity, and BetGalaxy Australia has odds on a huge number of different leagues from around the world. In fact, this is one area in which they do have a great selection of leagues to choose on; within individual matches the number of markets isn’t exactly the most in the industry, but if you want to bet on basketball games from all over the world then BetGalaxy have certainly got you covered.
Australian Rules Football
With the AFL offseason in full swing, BetGalaxy doesn’t have odds on the pre-eminent footy league at the time of writing, but evidently that all changes once the season nears and they offer markets on each and every game as well as a decent selection of futures. They could certainly improve their number of markets for things like player props, but overall they’re solid enough. They also have odds for AFLW games, though these are even more limited than what they are for AFL betting, and the odds aren’t quite as good as what they offer elsewhere either.
Rugby League
Like with the AFL, the NRL is in its offseason at the time of writing and as a result there are not currently markets for that league – though that’s the case for the vast majority of betting sites with the league having just ended, and not many punters likely to give much thought to NRL betting for at least a few months. But also like with the AFL, once the season comes around there are markets for every game and a number of futures. Again, the depth of markets for individual games could be improved, but also like with other sports, BetGalaxy’s NRL odds are reasonably competitive.
Soccer
There is no shortage of soccer leagues all around the world, and BetGalaxy lives up to its name in this field, with odds on an incredible number of different soccer leagues. Interestingly, though they don’t have a huge number of sports available and their range of markets for individual games leaves a little to be desired, for international sports like basketball and soccer they do cover plenty of ground in terms of different leagues. Everything from the EPL to the Norwegian Second Division is available here, and even for the less popular leagues they offer more than just head to head markets, with alternate handicaps, half, and score markets available too. Overall, this is one area in which BetGalaxy provides a really good selection of markets.
BetGalaxy doesn’t have the widest range of sports available, but there are plenty of leagues available for the more popular global sports. But while they provide the basic markets and a few decent others too, they could improve their selection of sports markets by adding more sports, and adding things like more player props to the bigger leagues and matches from around the world.
BetGalaxy Sponsorship Deals
At present, BetGalaxy does not have any sponsorship deals, though they do partner with Racing NSW, tascracing, Thoroughbred Park, Racing Queensland, RWWA, and Racing Victoria.

💳Betgalaxy Banking
For me, banking isn’t something I really have to worry about with betting sites. The reason? I use debit card every time for deposits, and this is available with pretty much every Aussie bookmaker I’ve come across.
But not everyone keeps it so simple. If you prefer to use an alternative payment method to deposit or withdraw, then it may limit the number of betting sites you can use, because the number of options you have can vary a lot from one betting site to the next.
BetGalaxy, as do many new or small betting sites, very much falls into the category of bookmakers with limited options. In fact, their options are about as limited as you can get.
In terms of deposit methods, you have two options. The first is debit card, which is easy to do once you set up your card and will result in funds being instantaneously deposited into your account. The second is bank transfer, which essentially acts like if you were sending money to a friend – albeit one who is trying to take your money, and one whose money you in return are trying to snare!
For withdrawals, the options are even more limited. You can’t withdraw money onto your debit card, so that leaves us with just one option; bank transfer. Again, for me this is a non-issue, as this is what I use every time if I’m lucky enough to be in a position where I need to withdraw. But if you’d prefer to use another BetGalaxy withdrawal method, you’re out of luck with BetGalaxy.
BetGalaxy’s withdrawal time is usually a day or two, which is obviously slower than what it takes to deposit using debit card, but which is relatively normal for a withdrawal from a betting site.
Despite their lack of options, the process itself is pretty easy and very much in line with other betting sites. A big deposit sign makes it easy to find out where to deposit – no surprise given that’s what the bookies want you to do – while withdrawing is simply a matter of verifying your bank account.
Overall, it’s not exactly the most developed part of BetGalaxy, but that’s often the case with new betting sites. For me personally, the lack of banking options isn’t an issue, but if you exclusively use PayPal or another payment method, then for the time being you won’t be able to bet with BetGalaxy.
🔞Is Betgalaxy Legal in Australia?
With so many different betting sites in Australia, you want to be certain that the one you’re using is a legitimate, above board bookmaker. To keep it simple, if you see it reviewed on BettingTop10, then it is a legitimate site, because they’re the only type that we review.
Also making it easy to determine which are legitimate is scrolling to the bottom of the home page. Genuine bookmakers will have information about who they are licensed and governed by. For BetGalaxy, that is the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission, while their gambling operations are governed by BetGalaxy’s Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct, and in South Australia, by the South Australian Responsible Gambling Code of Practice.
Genuine betting sites will also have some responsible gambling tools, and BetGalaxy is no different. They have their own Gambling Code of Conduct, as mentioned, while they also offer directions to gambler’s helpline at the bottom of their home page.
Betgalaxy Customer Support
With less capacity – at least compared their better resourced competitors – to excel in areas like odds and range of markets, one thing that new betting sites often focus on is providing a quality customer support platform. BetGalaxy Australia is no exception.
Getting into contact with this betting site, should you need to, is a simple process largely thanks to the presence of live chat. Accessing this is super easy; simply head to the home page, click on ‘Contact Us’ on the left hand side, as shown in the image below, and then click on ‘Chat’ to get started.
You can do this any time between 10am and 10pm East Coast time, with relatively prompt responses coming from the customer support consultants. These consultants, in my experience, are pretty willing and able to help, and can clean up most issues that you may run into.
Alternatively, if you don’t have time to sit around on a live chat or just don’t want to, you’ve also got the option to send an email. This is obviously a slower process, but if you have a more convoluted issue or simply need to send off your request and then get on with your day, responding to their response when you have the time, then email can be the superior option.
The one common method of contact which is lacking on BetGalaxy is a phone number. This is certainly something they can improve upon; sometimes it’s easiest to just call up and speak directly to somebody to get an issue solved, though in my experience live chat does the job just as well.
Still, it’s certainly an area of improvement if they want to make a fully rounded customer support platform, while the extension of the live chat hours would also help in that regard.
Overall, however, the customer support platform available with BetGalaxy is a really good one, and should enable you to fix up any queries that you may have, or solve any problems you might run into, with relative ease.
Betgalaxy How To
To round out our detailed BetGalaxy review, in this section we’re going to run you through how to perform a few important tasks on the site, with step by step guides making it as easy as possible to follow.
How to open an account on BetGalaxy
Opening account with any betting site is typically pretty easy these days; here’s how you do it with BetGalaxy.
- Head to www.betgalaxy.com.au
- Click on the ‘Sign Up’ button in the top right hand corner of the page.
- Fill in the list of questions, which includes your email, name, mobile number and date of birth. Once you’ve done this, click the ‘Create My Account’ button
- You’ll then need to verify yourself. The next page will offer up a range of different verification options; choose one and then follow the prompts before clicking ‘verify these details’.
- Finally, you’ll be asked to create an account name, and once you’ve done that you’ll be all ready to go.
How to place a bet with BetGalaxy
Once you’ve created your account, you’re ready to place a bet – you do, of course, need to deposit first to do that. Once you’ve got money ready to go, however, this is how to place a bet with BetGalaxy.
- Log in to your BetGalaxy account.
- Locate the market on which you wish to place a bet – the easiest way to do this is to follow the prompts on the left hand menu, which lists different sports or race types as options.
- Once you find the market you’re after, click on the odds which are alongside it, and a betslip will pop up, as seen below.
- You then need to enter your stake. You can either manually type it in, or you can quickly add a pre-determined amount by clicking on the ‘+$5’ etc buttons which you can see on the above screenshot in yellow.
- Once you’ve put your stake in, the ‘Place Bet’ button in the bottom right hand corner will light up. Click on this, and your bet will be placed!
How to place a multi with BetGalaxy
Multis are a super popular way to bet these days, and with BetGalaxy it’s relatively easy to place one. Here’s how you do it.
- Follow the same steps as in the above section in order to locate the first market that you’re after. Again, put it into your betslip by clicking on the odds.
- Repeat this process for whichever other legs you wish to add to your multi. They’ll also be placed in your betslip.
- You’ll again have the option to place stake amounts into each individual bet, but if you scroll to the bottom of your betslip you’ll also notice an added section which allows you to put a certain stake on a multi, which requires all of your legs to
- succeed.
Add your desired stake into this box just as you would normally when placing a single leg bet. - Again, the Place Bet button will light up – click on it, and your multi will be placed!
