EPL 2023/24 Matchweek 17

Premier League Matchweek 17 is full of great stories. Will Liverpool stay on top? Can Man City fix their slump? These are just two of the great stories we will be keeping an eye on.

In addition to the stories, we’ve reviewed the entire EPL betting market ahead of Matchweek 17 to bring you three great picks and our free EPL Matchweek 17 multibet. This week, we are going with Tottenham to win at Nottingham Forest, Everton to beat Burnley, and Both Teams To Score in Arsenal vs. Brighton.

Nottingham Forest vs. Tottenham

December 16, 6:00 AM, The City Ground

Tottenham were back at their best last week with a convincing 4-1 win at home against Newcastle. Nottingham Forest looked good too last week in their 1-1 draw at Wolves. However, the flaws in Forest’s side were still glaringly obvious.

Forest struggle to create and convert chances while also being far more open than they were last season. We think this will be an easy win for Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham side on the road at The City Ground.

Our first pick for our EPL Matchweek 17 multibet is Tottenham to WIN @ $1.70.

Burnley vs. Everton

December 17, 3:30 AM, Turf Moor

This match is Sean Dyche’s first chance to manage against Burnley since they sacked him in 2022. The Clarets are probably wishing they still had him by their side right now as they sit firmly in the relegation zone while Everton are comfortably outside it despite their 10-point deduction.

The betting sites don’t think there is actually that big a gap between these teams though. Everton’s odds to win are longer than you would expect, so it’s a no-brainer to take Everton to WIN @ $2.10 in our EPL multibet.

Arsenal vs. Brighton

December 18, 12:00 AM, Emirates Stadium

Arsenal’s slip up at Aston Villa last week has ratcheted the pressure up on Mikel Arteta’s side in Matchweek 17. Brighton are feeling the pressure as they struggle to cope with injuries and playing in European competitions for the first time in their history. .

Even on their off days, the Gunners look solid, so Arsenal will probably come out on top of this one playing at home. Brighton should give them plenty of problems though. Roberto De Zerbi’s team beat Arsenal 3-0 at the Emirates last season in May.

We are taking Both Teams To Score - YES @ 1.72 here.
