EPL 2023/24 Matchweek 3

The 2023/24 Premier League season is in full swing. We are heading into matchweek three now and a full slate of ten Premier League games. In this article, we have identified three of the best picks for you to make in your EPL multibet this week. Our picks this week are Chelsea vs. Luton Both Teams to Score - NO,Man Utd. vs. Forest under 3.5 goals, and Liverpool Draw No Bet against Newcastle.

Chelsea vs. Luton Town

August 26, 05:00, Stamford Bridge

Alarm bells are going off at Chelsea following their 3-1 loss to West Ham last week. The betting market doesn’t quite reflect this though since the Blues are going up against the newly-promoted Luton Town.

Chelsea are overwhelming favourites in this one, even if they can’t score. Luton only scored at Brighton thanks to a questionable handball call. Chelsea are more solid at the back than Brighton and have more depth on paper, so we back them to shut the Hatters out. Our first EPL matchweek 3 multibet pick from PlayUp is Chelsea vs. Luton Town Both Teams To Score - NO @ 1.75.

Manchester United vs. Nottingham Forest

August 27, 00:00, Old Trafford

According to the vast majority of betting sites, Manchester United vs. Nottingham Forest is one of the most lopsided EPL matchweek 3 fixtures. However, that does not mean there is not a value multibet pick for this match.

Like Chelsea, recent Red Devils’ performances have ManU fans sweating about their team. United’s biggest concerns are their inability to score and lacklustre midfield. Nottingham Forest are bad, but they are not bad enough to let United walk all over them. We think ManU will win, but not by much. UNDER 3.5 goals @ 1.60 is our pick in this one.

Newcastle United vs. Liverpool

August 28, 01:30, St. James' Park

Newcastle vs. Liverpool looks to be the most competitive match of this EPL weekend. The betting agencies do not view it that way. Newcastle are favourites in this one at most Australian betting apps. We see value here.

Liverpool’s defence has looked shaky at times throughout their first two games, but they are still Liverpool. A front three of Salah, Nunez, and Diaz can cause any side problems, even away from home. Barring a dominating performance by Newcastle’s forwards, Liverpool should be able to get something at St. James’ Park. Our pick is  Liverpool Draw No Bet @ 2.20.
