English Premier League Multi bet of the Weekend | Matchweek 4

The international break is over and the Premier League is back. The action kicks off with Southampton vs. Manchester United on Saturday. The most anticipated match of the weekend is on Sunday when Tottenham will face off against Arsenal in the first North London Derby match of the season. Manchester United went into the September international break as the Premier League’s biggest ‘crisis club’ after losing back-to-back matches against Brighton and Liverpool. Despite this, I really like their chances against Southampton.  

As bad as Man Utd have been, the Saints have been much, much worse. They have zero points so far this season and have one of the worst defences in the league. The only thing they are good at is maintaining possession. That’s not a good thing against a counter-attacking side like Man Utd.  

The Red Devils have not lost away at Southampton since 2003. My EPL predictions have them getting another win this weekend. I’m taking Manchester United to WIN @$1.72. 

September 15, 5:00 AM, Vitality Stadium 

Like Man Utd, Chelsea are another big side who have struggled so far this season. Besides their 6-2 demolition of Wolves, the Blues have not looked convincing. The difference between Man Utd and Chelsea this week is that Chelsea are facing much tougher opposition.  

Bournemouth have legitimately been one of the most exciting teams in the league since Andoni Iraola took over last season. They pulled off a thrilling comeback against Everton in Matchweek 3, and have lost just one match out of their last eight fixtures at home. They will make things difficult for Chelsea.  

For my second pick in my EPL multibet, I’m taking Bournemouth to WIN or DRAW vs. Chelsea @$1.77.

September 15, 11:00 PM, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium 

Tottenham vs. Arsenal is the biggest match of EPL Matchweek 4, but some of the Gunners’ biggest stars will be missing from the match. Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard are not available due to suspension and injury, respectively. Riccardo Calafiori could also miss out with an ankle injury.  

Spurs are always leaky defensively. Without Rice and Odegaard, I expect Arsenal to be more disorganised than they typically are. This should be a really open game with lots of goals. Three of the last four North London Derbies have had four goals or more. I’m expecting that to happen again this weekend.  

My final pick is Spurs vs. Arsenal - OVER 3.5 Goals @$2.35.
