EPL Multi Bet of the Weekend

We are only five weeks into the 2024/25 Premier League season, and we already have a potential title deciding match. Reigning champions Manchester City will take on title challengers Arsenal this Sunday. Our EPL multibet has a pick from this match and two of the other top games from EPL Matchweek 5.

This week, we like Newcastle to beat Fulham, UNDER 2.5 goals in Brighton vs. Forest, and Man City to win at home against Arsenal.

Fulham vs. Newcastle

September 22, 12:00 AM, Craven Cottage

The betting sites predict that this match will be incredibly close. We’re not so sure.

Newcastle are undefeated in their last six matches against the Cottagers, and have looked like one of the best teams in the league this season. Additionally, Fulham are coming into this match following a 16-15 penalty loss to Preston North End in the EFL Cup on Tuesday. Newcastle did not play midweek and will be fully rested.

Our first pick for our EPL multibet is a fairly straightforward one. We like Newcastle to WIN at Craven Cottage @$2.35

Brighton vs. Nottingham Forest

September 22, 11:00 PM, American Express Stadium

Brighton struggled against Ipswich Town last weekend, but were back at their best in the EFL Cup against Wolves on Wednesday. The Seagulls won 3-2. Forest, meanwhile, are flying after their 1-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield.

This should be a very tight match between two sides with clear identities. Forest like to sit back and defend. Brighton like to push the envelope and dominate possession. As we saw against Ipswich, Brighton’s strategy doesn’t always work out. We’re willing to bet it doesn’t work against Forest either.

All five of Nottingham Forest’s competitive matches this season have featured less than 2.5 goals. In Brighton vs. Nottingham Forest, we’re backing this trent and taking UNDER 2.5 goals @$1.98.

Manchester City vs. Arsenal

September 23, 1:30 AM, Etihad Stadium

Mikel Arteta delivered the devastating news on Wednesday that Martin Odegaard will be out for a “significant” amount of time after suffering an ankle injury. Man City will also be missing their playmaker with Kevin De Bruyne out injured too. The differences are that Man City are a lot deeper and they’re playing at home.

Man City played big chunks of last season without De Bruyne and were still the most dominant team in the league. They haven’t lost at home in regular time at home since November 2022. We’re backing them to win again at home on Sunday.

Our final pick is Man City to WIN versus Arsenal @$1.77.
