Crystal Palace vs. Tottenham Hotspur
Selhurst Park, 6:30 AM, Saturday, October 28
Crystal Palace took a beating last week at the hands of Newcastle United away at St. James Park. The Eagles lost 4-0, and it probably could have been more had Newcastle not put on the breaks a bit as the match went on. The Crystal Palace defence looked very weak.
Tottenham meanwhile delivered a beating last weekend. Spurs took care of Fulham at home, beating the Cottagers 2-0 in a convincing victory. This result left Tottenham as one of the two remaining unbeaten sides in the Premier League. As much as we would like to predict an upset, we think Spurs will be unbeaten after EPL Matchweek 10 too.
Palace are in the midst of an injury crisis with Olise, Eze and Henderson all out injured. Several other players are just coming back from injuries, so it’s doubtful how much they will contribute. Spurs should take care of Palace and continue their unbeaten run.
Predicted Lineups
Crystal Palace: Johnstone; Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Lerma, Doucoure, Hughes; Ayew, Edouard, Schlupp
Tottenham: Vicario; Porro, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma; Kulusevski, Maddison, Richarlison; Son
Chelsea vs. Brentford
Stamford Bridge, 10:30 PM, Saturday, October 28
This match will be the second straight London Derby at home for Chelsea in as many weeks. Last week, the Blues threw away two points in a surprising last-minute collapse to Arsenal. Brentford managed to secure all three points in Matchweek 9 thanks to a 3-0 victory against Burnley.
Putting the nature of the draw against Arsenal aside, Chelsea are on a good run right now. The Blues have lost just one of their last six matches across all competitions. More importantly, they’ve started scoring. Chelsea have scored multiple goals in their last three matches.
Scoring against Brentford will be tougher than scoring against Fulham or Burnley, but Chelsea put two past Arsenal, so we think they could get it done. Besides goals, we expect Chelsea to win this match.
Predicted Lineups
Chelsea: Sanchez; Gusto, Silva, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Sterling, Gallagher, Mudryk; Palmer
Brentford: Flekken; Ajer, Collins, Pinnock; Roerslev, Jensen, Norgaard, Janelt, Hickey; Mbeumo, Wissa
Bournemouth vs. Burnley
Vitality Stadium, 1:00 AM, Sunday, October 29
Bournemouth have had one of the toughest schedules in the Premier League, so we maintain that their position near the EPL table is slightly deceiving. With that being said, we keep expecting Bournemouth to turn their season around, and they keep disappointing us. Maybe this will finally be the week?
Last week was a prime example of this. Wolves are an okay side, but they are not good enough to beat the Cherries in the way that they did. Wolves had 67% possession and 21 shots in that match.
Andoni Iraola, the man leading the sinking ship that is Bournemouth, is now the favourite at most betting sites to be the first EPL manager to be fired this season. The Cherries need to get a good result against Burnley this weekend for Iraola to keep his job. We think he will get it done and live to fight another day.

Predicted Lineups

Burnley: Trafford; Taylor, Al-Dakhil, O’Shea, Taylor; Cullen, Berge; Koleosho, Amdouni, Redmond; Foster
Arsenal vs Sheffield United
Emirates Stadium, 1:00 AM, Sunday, October 29
According to the soccer betting sites, there is no bigger underdog this weekend than Sheffield United. We would love to tell you that they are wrong and that you should back SheffU to win big, but we can’t. We don’t see any way the Blades get anything from this match.
Sheffield United already had one of the worst squads in the Premier League. Now, they are even worse thanks to injuries to Chris Basham, John Egan, and Tom Davies.
Arsenal have injury troubles of their own, but nothing to the extent of Sheffield United’s. The Gunners should handle the Blades at home easily. We are predicting at least a two-goal margin.
Predicted Lineups
Arsenal: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Odegaard, Rice; Saka, Haverta, Trossard
Sheff Utd: Foderingham; Bogle, Trusty, Robinson, Thomas; McAtee, Norwood, Souza, Brewster; McBurnie, Archer
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Newcastle United
Molineux Stadium, 3:30 AM, Sunday, October 29
Wolves looked absolutely dominant last week away at Bournemouth. The West Midlands side took over 20 shots, kept 67% possession, and strung together nearly 600 passes. They also got all three points. This bodes well for their season, but unfortunately for them, it probably won’t mean much against Newcastle.
The Magpies also had a dominant victory last week when they dismantled Crystal Palace in a 4-0 victory at home. This result was expected as Newcastle are more talented and very well-coached. Both things will be true again against Wolves, so we see Newcastle winning.
There is one factor to consider in this matchup though. Newcastle will be playing Dortmund midweek in the Champions League. Their tired legs could come back to bite them against Wolves. We don’t think Wolves will win, but it’s something worth considering if you are backing the Over in this one. However, we still like Newcastle to win this one with ease.
Predicted Lineups
Wolves: Sa; Kilman, Dawson, T.Gomes; Doherty, J.Gomes, Traore, Ait-Nouri; Neto, Cuhna, Hwang
Newcastle: Pope; Livramento, Lascelles, Schar, Burn; Longstaff, Guimaraes, Joelinton; Almiron, Wilson, Gordon
West Ham United vs. Everton
London Stadium, 12:00 AM, Monday, October 30
Everton again at Liverpool last weekend. Will they have better luck this week against their old manager David Moyes and his West Ham side? Probably not.
West Ham lost last week to Villa, but they are much better than Everton. With that being said, we actually like a draw in this match. The Hammer showed last week how uncomfortable they are when they are trying to play on the front foot. Playing on the front foot is something they will need to do against Everton, so we can see the Blues getting something out of this match.
It will be tough for Everton though, considering their major talent disadvantage and the fact that they will be without Ashley Young who got a red card last week.

Predicted Lineups
West Ham: Areola; Coufal, Zouma, Aguerd, Emerson; Ward-Prowse, Alvarez; Bowen, Soucek, Paqueta; Antonio
Everton: Pickford; Patterson, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Harrison, Garner, Onana, McNeil, Doucoure; Calvert-Lewin
Aston Villa vs. Luton Town
Villa Park, 1:00 AM, Monday, October 30
This may not be the biggest mismatch of EPL Matchweek 10 according to the betting sites, but it’s hard to find a team we feel worse for than Luton Town this weekend.
No team has scored more goals or earned more points at home this year than Aston Villa. Unai Emery has his side kicking on all cylinders. With Villa Park behind them, this match could get really ugly for Luton. Despite Aston Villa not being the biggest name, they are playing really well and will create a big challenge for Luton Town.
The Hatters will have to play the ultimate game of anti-football if they are going to get anything from this match. Even then, they will need a lot of luck on their side too. Villa should win and do so by a wide margin.
Predicted Lineups
Aston Villa: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Torres, Digne; Kamara, Luiz, Zaniolo; McGinn, Diaby; Watkins
Luton Town: Kaminski; Burke, Lockyer, Mengi, Doughty; Ogbene, Nakamba, Ruddock, Chong; Brown, Morris
Brighton and Hove Albion vs. Fulham
Amex Stadium, 1:00 AM, Monday, October 30
On paper, this should not be a close match. But as we all know, soccer isn’t played on paper. Brighton will be coming into this match with a number of injuries to key players such as Solly March, Danny Welbeck, Pervis Estupinan, and Julio Enciso.
When you add into the equation that Brighton will be playing in the Europa League midweek and that Fulham are a bit of a bogey team for the Seagulls, this match starts to look pretty tough for Brighton.
Marco Silva’s Fulham aren’t exactly flying right now, after just having lost 2-0 to Spurs, but they have enough talent to take something from an injured, tired Brighton side. We’re backing a draw in this one.

Liverpool vs. Nottingham Forest
Liverpool vs. Nottingham Forest
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have started to hit their stride. The Reds are on a three-match unbeaten streak and have lost just once all season in all competitions. Steve Copper’s Reds, meanwhile, are in 16th place and just drew 2-2 against lowly Luton Town.
Liverpool should win this match. They are the better side and are playing at home. Nottingham Forest can be awkward opponents at times though thanks to their tough, well-organised defence. Because of this, we are backing Forest to get a lucky, surprise goal.
Besides Liverpool to win, Both Teams To Score - Yes, is our best bet in this one.
Predicted Lineups
Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Elliott; Salah, Jota, Diaz
Nottm Forest: Turner; Aurier, Boly, Murillo, Toffolo; Dominguez, Mangala, Sangare; Gibbs-White, Wood, Elanga
Manchester United vs. Manchester City
Old Trafford, 1:30 AM, Monday, October 30
EPL Matchweek 10 ends with one of the biggest matches English football has to offer; The Manchester Derby. Manchester City are big favourites in this match, as they should be considering the state of Manchester United, but we can’t help but get excited for the big game.
Part of the reason we are so excited is because Pep Guardiola’s Man City looks more vulnerable than they have in years. Had James Milner not been playing right back for Brighton last week, the Citizens easily could have drawn with Brighton.
Man United meanwhile have a knack for looking great in games they shouldn’t and looking terrible in ones they should be dominating. We won’t go as far as saying the Red Devils will win this match. They will probably lose. With that being said, it should be an exciting match with lots of goals.
Predicted Lineups
Man Utd: Onana; Dalot, Maguire, Varane, Lindelof; Amrabat, McTominay; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund
Man City: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Ake, Gvardiol; Stones, Rodri; Silva, Alvarez, Doku; Haaland
