EPL 2023/24 Matchweek 11

The Premier League title race is in full swing. Tottenham have an early lead under new Australian manager Ange Postecoglou, but the betting sites still have Manchester City and Liverpool as title favourites. Spurs play Chelsea while Liverpool and Man City play relegation candidates Luton Town and Bournemouth, respectively.

Keep reading to see our best EPL bets for these matches. We also have EPL Matchweek 11 betting tips and best bets for every other Premier League fixture this weekend.

Matchweek 11 Fixtures

Fulham vs. Manchester United

Craven Cottage, 10:30 PM, Saturday, November 4

Manchester United again finished the matchweek as the biggest story in the Premier League for all the wrong reasons. The Red Devils were humiliated at home in the Manchester Derby 3-0 by Manchester City. They should have a better time of things this week, but Fulham could be tricky.

The Cottagers got a point away at Brighton last week despite being against it for most of the match. Defensive midfielder Palhinha was lucky to avoid a red card and ended up scoring the equaliser. These kinds of things happen when you play Marco Silva’s Fulham side. Because of this, we’re inclined to think this match will end in a draw.

However, if you’re confident that United will get things back on track this weekend, you can find good odds for Manchester United to win at pretty much all betting sites in Australia.

Fulham: Leno; Castagne, Bassey, Ream, Robinson; Pereira, Palhinha; De Cordova-Reid, Cairney, Willian; Jimenez
Man Utd: Onana; Dalot, Lindelof, Varane, Reguilón; Eriksen, Amrabat, McTominay; Fernandes, Hojlund, Rashford

Brentford vs. West Ham United

Gtech Community Stadium, 1:00 AM, Sunday, November 5

Brentford have firmly put an end to their poor start to the season over the past two weeks. After going on a six-game winless streak, the Bees have won two straight. Their victory last week against Chelsea was a brilliant display of exactly what made Brentford so tough to play last season. With all that being said, West Ham could cause them problems.

David Moyes’ Hammers side struggled to break down Everton’s low block defensive set up last week and fell victim to a Toffees’ counter attacking goal. Brentford also like to sit back, but not nearly to the extent Sean Dyche and Everton do. West Ham should have more chances to counter against Brentford than against Everton, which bodes well for their chances in this match.

Overall, this should be an interesting tactical matchup. It could either be end-to-end attacking soccer or a dull low-scoring affair. Either way, we like a draw in this one.

BookmakerTipOdds
Brentford vs. West Ham United - DRAW $3.55

Brentford: Flekken; Ajer, Pinnock, Collins; Roerslev, Jensen, Norgaard, Janelt, Hickey; Mbuemo, Wissa
West Ham: Areola; Coufal, Zouma, Aguerd, Cresswell; Alvarez, Ward-Prowse, Soucek; Bowen, Antonio, Paqueta

Burnley vs. Crystal Palace

Turf Moor, 1:00 AM, Sunday, November 5

We are entering do-or-die territory for Vincent Komany and Burnley. The Clarets boss came into this season with high expectations thanks to his side’s attractive style of play in the Championship. They’ve been unable to replicate their success and now find themselves in 19th place following a relegation six-pointer loss against Bournemouth last week.

Unfortunately for Burnley, we don’t see them getting their season on track against Palace. Roy Hogson’s style is nearly the opposite of Kompany’s. ‘Uncle Roy’ prioritises defensive solidity above all. This leads to a lot of counter attacking goals for Palace.

With players like Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze potentially coming back from injury this week, we see Burnley giving up at least two goals to Palace. The Eagles should win this one.

BookmakerTipOdds
Crystal Palace to WIN $2.55
Crystal Palace to WIN $2.60
Crystal Palace to WIN $2.56

Predicted Lineups

Burnley: Trafford; Vitinho, O’Shea, Al-Dakhil, Taylor; Guðmundsson, Cullen, Brownhill; Koleosho, Rodriguez, Redmond
Crystal Palace: Johnstone; Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Doucoure, Hughes; Ajew, Eze, Schlupp; Edouard

Everton vs. Brighton and Hove Albion

Goodison Park, 1:00 AM, Sunday, November 5

Barring a potential points deduction for financial fair play violations, Everton are probably staying up this year. A scrappy 1-0 victory against West Ham last week showed that they are a cut above the rest of the Premier League’s potential relegation candidates. With that being said, we think they will struggle immensely against Brighton.

The Seagulls lost 5-1 to Everton late last season, so many soccer betting sites are making them just slight favourites in this one. We think this is a big mistake and something you can take advantage of this weekend in your EPL bets.

Unlike Everton, Brighton are not playing a midweek Carabao Cup match this week, meaning they will be fully rested. Additionally, Brighton rarely lose badly twice in a row. They will be fully focused and ready to get revenge against Everton. Brighton should win this match.

BookmakerTipOdds
Brighton to WIN $2.15
Brighton to WIN $2.20
Brighton to WIN $2.16

Predicted Lineups

Everton: Pickford; Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Harrison, Garner, Onana, McNeil; Doucoure, Calvert-Lewin
Brighton: Steele; Milner, Webster, Dunk, Igor; Baleba, Gilmour; Adingra, Gross, Mitoma; Ferguson

Manchester City vs. Bournemouth

Etihad Stadium, 1:00 AM, Sunday, November 5

Bournemouth earned their first win of the season last week against Burnley. Unfortunately for the Cherries, they will probably have to wait a little longer to get their second. No team is a bigger underdog in EPL Matchweek 11 than Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth.

Manchester City are just too good for a team like Bournemouth. We expect the reigning Premier League champions to put out a rotated side and still come away with a victory in this match.

Expect to see Jack Grealish play a big role now that his starting position is at stake due to the emergence of Jeremy Doku. Julian Alvarez should also get a runout, so it's worth taking a punt on him scoring. With all that being said, your best bet in this match is on a big Manchester City victory.

Sheffield United vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Bramall Lane, 1:00 AM, Sunday, November 5

Sometimes a club’s place in the table is deceiving. This is not the case with Sheffield United. The Blades are last in the Premier League with just one point. Besides some strong performances against the Manchester clubs, there really are no reasons to be hopeful if you are a Sheff Utd fan.

Manager Paul Heckingbottom is tipped to be the first manager sacked in the Premier League, according to the betting agencies, and several defenders are out with long-term injuries.

Wolves, meanwhile, have excelled this season under new manager Gary O'Neil and thanks to players like Hwang Hee-Chan and Pedro Neto. We expect them to keep up their good run against the Blades. Wolves should win this match.

BookmakerTipOdds
Wolves to WIN $1.98
Wolves to WIN $2.00
Wolves to WIN $1.97

Predicted Lineups

Sheff Utd: Foderingham; Bogle, Trusty, Robinson, Thomas; McAtee, Souza, Norwood, Slimane; Archer, Brewster
Wolves: Sa; Semedo, Kilman, Dawson, Gomes; Neto, Lemina, Traore, Ait-Nouri; Hwang, Cunha

Newcastle United vs. Arsenal

St. James' Park, 3:30 AM, Sunday, November 5

Newcastle United are in the middle of potentially the toughest run of their season so far. Unfortunately for Magpies fans, the Tyneside club has not coped well so far. Newcastle lost 1-0 at home to Dortmund in the Champions League and could only manage to get a point away at Wolves.

They next play Manchester United in the Carabao Cup midweek before having to play Arsenal on the weekend and Dortmund in the Champions League after that.

Arsenal’s schedule is similarly congested, but the Gunners have had much better form recently. Mikel Arteta’s men have not lost in over a month, and are still undefeated in the Premier League.

Whether it’s a scrappy draw or a convincing victory, we are backing Arsenal to get something from their match against Newcastle.

Arsenal: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Jorginho, Odegaard; Saka, Nketiah, Trossard

Nottingham Forest vs. Aston Villa

The City Ground, 12:00 AM, Monday, November 6

Nottingham Forest will be looking to bounce back after their 3-0 loss to Liverpool last week. The Reds desperately need to expand the gap between themselves and the current bottom four. Even though the sports betting sites have them as big underdogs against Aston Villa, we think this could be a good match for them to pick up a point.

Unai Emery’s Villa are one of the most in-form teams in Europe right now, especially at home. While this is definitely true, there are times when they could be more proactive. Villa prefer to sit back. This is something Forest like to do as well.

Both teams are well-coached, so we see this one ending in a draw.

Luton Town vs. Liverpool

Kenilworth Road, 2:30 AM, Monday, November 6

Luton Town have surpassed many people’s expectations this season by not being bottom of the table a quarter of the way through the season. The Hatters are just one point away from getting out of the relegation zone. They will not get that point this weekend.

Off the pitch, Liverpool are still reeling from the news of Luis Diaz’s parents’ kidnapping in Colombia. On the pitch, the Reds are cruising. Jurgen Klopp’s men beat Forest 3-0 last week. We are expecting a similar result in Matchweek 11.

Diaz probably will still be out, even if we get the good news that his father has been found, so expect to see a rotated side from Klopp against Luton.

BookmakerTipOdds
Liverpool -1.5 $1.65
Both Teams To Score - NO $2.00
Liverpool -1.5 $1.65

Liverpool: Alisson; Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Szobozlai, Endo, Elliott; Salah, Gakpo, Jota

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Chelsea

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, 6:00 AM, Tuesday, November 7

Tottenham are playing in a London derby for the third straight week. They have been victorious in their last two outings, and we are expecting them to get a third victory  against Chelsea.

The Blues have also played in London derbies over the last two matchweeks, but they have not been as successful as Spurs. In fact, Chelsea have looked embarrassing at times. First, they gave away a 2-0 lead to Arsenal. Then, Chelsea lost at home to Brentford.

As much as Mauricio Pochettino surely wants to get a result against his old side, we can’t see it happening. Spurs and Ange Postecoglou should continue their unbeaten run against Chelsea.

BookmakerTipOdds
Tottenham to WIN $2.08
Draw No Bet - Tottenham $1.55

Chelsea: Sanchez; Gusto, Silva, Colwill, Cucurella; Fernandez, Caicedo; Madueke, Palmer, Sterling; Jackson
