UEFA Euro 2024 is in full swing. We’re nearly two-thirds the way through the group stage and we’ve gotten a good look at all the real Euro 2024 favourites. Portugal, one of those Euro 2024 favourites, plays their second group stage match on 22 June against Turkey.

Georgia showed against Turkey and in Euros Qualifying that they are going to go for it no matter who they are playing. It might not be the most successful strategy, but it should result in them scoring at least one goal in this one.
Czechia also should have no problem scoring here. The Czechs played a more reserved game against Portugal who dominated possession for much of the match. Patrik Schick, Adam Hložek, and Czechia’s other attackers should have plenty more chances against a team like Georgia who are so aggressive and open at the back.
Turkey and Georgia played in probably the best game of Euro 2024 last week. The Turks game out on top with a 3-1 victory, partly thanks to an amazing outside-the-box goal by Real Madrid wonderkid Arda Güler.
Portugal played in the following match against Czechia and came away with a scrappy 2-1 win.
Both teams went all out attacking in their first group stage matches. Portugal’s constant pressure earned themselves 13 corners in the match. Turkey had five corners in their end-to-end match against Georgia.
If both teams play to type on Saturday night, hitting 10 corners combined in the match should be easy for them.
Our Euro 2024 predictions had Belgium struggling in this tournament, but we had no idea they would flop so early. The Red Devils lost to Slovakia in the biggest upset in Euros history according to FIFA rankings.
Romania also upset the Euro betting sites and oddsmakers when they destroyed Ukraine 3-0 in their first group stage game.
As much as we would like to see Romania continue their Cinderella story and upset Belgium, the Red Devils are too defensively solid to give up goals like Ukraine did. Belgium can’t be trusted to score either, so we’re going UNDER 2.5 goals for Belgium vs. Romania.
