Euro 2024: Free Tips & Today's Best Bets | 26 June 2024

June 26 is the final day of the UEFA Euro 2024 group stage. In Group E, there’s still all to play for. All three teams have three points going into the final day. In Group F, Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal have already secured their place in the knockout rounds, while Turkey, Czechia, and Georgia are all fighting for the last automatic qualification spot.

Belgium To WIN (1.63) | Playup

Belgium have not lived up to our Euro 2024 predictions for them so far. Their loss to Slovakia to start the group stage will probably go down as one of the most disappointing performances of the Euros by a major side. Despite all of this, Belgium haven’t actually been that bad.  

The Red Devils have created the fourth most xG per match and allowed the fifth least xG per match in the entire tournament. They aren’t converting their chances, but they are playing well.  

In a do-or-die match against a less talented side, we back Belgium to get a win and advance to the next round.

Portugal put three goals past Turkey in their second group stage match. Most Australian betting sites think A Seleção das Quinas will score at least that many against Georgia. We’re not so convinced.  

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal have already qualified for the next round. They are guaranteed to finish top of the group thanks to their win against Turkey. As we’ve seen so many times from Portugal, they are very comfortable just playing for a result.  

Georgia are not nearly as talented as Portugal, so the Lusitanians will probably win. Scoring four goals though? We don’t see that happening.

Turkey’s 3-1 win over Georgia was arguably the match of the tournament so far. Their howler against Portugal might also go down as the biggest mistake of Euro 2024. Despite the memorable moments, Turkey have not been great.  

Czechia, meanwhile, have been very forgettable at Euro 2024 so far. They gave Portugal a scare in match one played to a 1-1 draw against Georgia.  

Both these teams need a win to advance to the next round. Given the stakes, and their poor defences, we expect to see goals for both teams.
