Day 3 Multibets for Roland Garros 2024

In this multibet we will be looking into some of the evenly matched contests in particular to dissect the value side whether this is on the totals or moneyline. We have a keen selection that may or may not make a double appearance!

Barrere vs Bublik, Men's Singles

Bublik To Win @ 1.75

We have a strong opinion on this price being slightly generous for the Kazakh. He lost to eventual champion, Perricard, in Lyon last week for his maiden clay title. Most importantly, he has shown good intent throughout the clay season which is vital when betting for Bublik.

Burruchaga vs Struff, Men’s Singles

Struff -7.5 Games @ 1.93

Struff was mighty impressive throughout 2023, he has continued to play well in 2024. This match is all about Struff and how well his game is on the day. We are banking on him to be at his best in a tournament where he has upset Carlos Alcaraz in the third round.

Popyrin vs Kokkinakis, Men’s Singles

Kokkinakis 1st Set Winner @ 1.82

Kokkinakis has fitness issues particularly in five-set matches, he will be looking to get a strong start to get a comfortable lead before the inevitable fatigue kicks in. Popyrin has exited in the first round in every appearance since 2019.

Multi Bet of the Weekend

Zeppieri vs Mannarino, Men’s Singles

Zeppieri -6.5 Games @ 1.98

Mannarino has been extremely poor on clay in 2024, he has lost 4/4, losing all of them in straight-sets too. He has played at Roland Garros 18 times and never reached the third round, this shows his dislike towards the French clay.

Blinkova vs Cirstea, Women’s Singles

Blinkova To Win @ 2.90

Taking on our first favourite for this multibet piece, we think this a great spot for Blinkova at such a large price. She doesn’t mind being an underdog as she has beaten Rybakina & Pegula this year. She has also shown decent Slam form reaching the 3rd round in 3 of four recent slams.

Putintseva vs Stephens, Women’s Singles

Stephens To Win @ 2.12

We are happy to take Stephens as an underdog in this matchup, she loves a grand slam and has a fantastic record in opening matches at Roland Garros (11 wins, 1 loss). Putintseva is also very capable and showing slightly better form hence the price, but we are taking Sloane at the odds against price here.

Multi Bet of the Weekend

Azarenka vs Podoroska, Women’s Singles

Azarenka 2-0 @ 1.72

Azarenka is showing no signs of age, the 34-four-old has reached semi-finals in Rome and Charleston. A favourable draw for her but an opponent she must respect, Podoroska is a former semi-finalist. We are backing Azarenka to extend the H2H to 3-0 with another straight-sets win (which the previous clashes have seen).

Cobolli vs Medjedovic, Men’s Singles

Cobolli Win From Behind @ 6.50

Big price in our multibet here but we think it should be a smidge shorter. We are confident that Medjedovic will get a better start as he is showing better form but also has fitness worries for a best of five set match. If the Italian were to win, we would expect it to be a long gruelling match.

McDonald vs Griekspoor, Men’s Singles

Griekspoor 3-0 @ 2.00

There may not be a player who hates clay more than Mackenzie McDonald, he has failed to win a match on clay since 2022. We see a slightly larger price than usual because of Griekspoor’s slightly poor form however, his game should be more than good enough to beat a player who is in more of a rut.

Multi Bet of the Weekend

That is all for our first round multibets, we have rounded off today’s piece with a big shout involving the Italian, Flavio Cobolli. A few picks we have strong opinions on and you will be able to see that in the reasoning, feel free to mix and match the multis for a more conservative payout!
