Best Multibet Tips of the Weekend| November 4th

There are a lot of Group 1 quality performers on show at Rosehill on Saturday afternoon for our multibet.

It is a good-looking card at Rosehill on Saturday with both the Giga Kick Stakes and the Golden Eagle on a day that will be a lot of fun. There are some proper classy types on show, so let’s get stuck into the three selections for the Saturday multibet.

Rosehill R4 #2 - Shohei $2.30

First up has been an excellent time to catch her in the past, with two wins and a second when returning from a break as she is here. She was run down late on by Foxy Frida when last in action at Bendigo, form that has taken a nice boost since by the winner, who was only beaten a length and a half in a Group 1 about ten weeks after that race. She only had seven starts, so there should be more to come from her this preparation.

Rosehill R7 #1 - Think About It $1.75

1300m here for the 2023 Everest winner. He had looked a very smart type ahead of that win, but his success in the most valuable sprint race on the planet pushed him into the big time. His attitude is exceptional, looking beaten the time before but digging deep to see off another very smart type who was behind him again in the Everest. He has only been beaten once, and there is no reason to think that will change her - she looks set to salute once more.

Rosehill R8 #16 - Amelia’s Jewel $4.40

She came into the Toorak with nine wins and two seconds in 11 career starts, so it was no surprise she was sent off as favourite. She was a flop there, that by far and away the worst run of her career. It is always a good idea to give the benefit of the doubt to a filly or mare on the back of one bad run so she is taken to return to her flying best. This is a decent field that includes Hawaii Five Oh, who was behind Think About It in the Everest, so he will be a good scalp for her to take.

Stats and Insights

  • There is a fair-sized inside barrier bias at Rosehill Gardens.
  • Joseph Pride has an ROI of +42 at this track in the last year. He saddles the red-hot Think About It in the Giga Kick Stakes.
  • Damian Lane only had seven rides at this track last season for two winners and two seconds. He has the mount on Amelia’s Jewel.
  • Runners close to the pace tend to be favoured at Rosehill.

There are some big reputations on the line at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday afternoon. Two of them have an exceptional winning strike rate, which they will be looking to add to in the pair of feature races on the card.
