Best Multibet Tips of the Weekend | July 6th

Flemington hosts their series finals race day on Saturday with the conclusion of the series of races that have taken place over the winter. The betting sites seem sure to take plenty of action on the races with the horses having plenty of formlines that tie in with one another.

Flemington R3 #2 - Craig $1.85

A short price despite being behind Rise At Dawn the last twice that he has run and is now worse off at the weights. The big difference here though is that they meet in a race where Rise At Dawn is going to face pressure for the early speed rather than get an easy time of things on the speed. Craig tends to be off the speed before running on and this maps out to be far better for him to get his head in front for the third time on just his fifth start.

Flemington R7 #7 - Press Down $2.50

A Listed contest here and an excellent field has been assembled for this sprint. Has won his last two starts, including the Gold Topaz at Swan Hill last time out. He saluted there by four lengths, an excellent margin of victory for a 1200m race. The visual impression that he made there was that of a runner still very much on the up. It was an impression that was backed up by the time that he clocked and he might yet have a little more improvement in the tank.

Flemington R9 #12 - Pharari $2.10

The three-year-old is set by far the stiffest task of her short career so far but she looks set to take the rise in class in her stride. She has only had four starts, finishing runner-up in her first two and winning her most recent pair. Both of those wins have come on softer ground than she will face here but the step up to 1200m for the first time could see further improvement from her as she has been slow out and running on well in her races. Could be a potential star in the making.

Stats and Insights

  • More than 2300m around with a home straight of 450m, Flemington is a true galloping test.
  • The team of Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young have an ROI of +114 at this track this season. They run Craig.
  • Draw bias varies on the sprint track with a low barrier a positive, particularly over distances between 1400m and 1800m.
  • Only the Hayes team has a stronger record at Flemington this season than Ciaron Maher who runs Pharari.

While this is not one of the bigger race days that Flemington has during the course of the season, it is still an excellent day of racing where we are looking forward to taking on the horse racing bookmakers with our three multibet selections.
