Following a huge Saturday (Australia time) of NBA action on another day of In-Season Tournament games, a relatively small slate of just six games will be tiding us through the last day of the weekend. But with the first game kicking off at 9am AEDT and the last not until 2:30pm AEDT, there will be plenty of action taking place throughout the course of the day. These are the best bets we’ve found from Sunday’s matchups.

Miami Heat @ Brooklyn Nets
November 26, 10am AEDT, Barclays Center
The Nets have lost three games in a row to take their record to 6-8, and yet here they are as the comfortable favourites against a Heat team sitting at 10-6. Those losses by the Nets have been an overtime defeat to the Hawks, a comfortable loss to the 76ers and, you guessed it, a defeat at the hands of the Heat; not exactly the greatest form line in the league. The Heat, meanwhile, are coming off a fourth quarter capitulation which saw them score just 11 points in the final quarter to go down by two points to the Knicks, but prior to that they had been in fine form, winning nine of their previous ten, the latest of which was a 33-point belting of the Cavaliers. They might be without Tyler Herro, while Duncan Robinson – who has been pivotal for them in Herro’s absence – is a day-to-day proposition, but even if both of those don’t play they look like great value at $2.45 in this one. They certainly have a bit to overcome – in the form of both those injuries and the fact that this will be the second leg of a back to back – but they’ve managed to negate the impact of those injuries so far and the back to back consists of two games in New York, so it isn’t as though they have to travel. This feels like a game in which they should be at least even money if not favourites, so at $2.45 the Heat look like great outright value.
New Orleans Pelicans @ Utah Jazz
November 26, 1.30pm AEDT, Delta Center
The Pelicans have finally begin to find some solid form after an indifferent start to the season, with a run of six seemingly difficult games which they’ve handled with aplomb. They’ve beat the Mavericks and the Nuggets before losing to the in-form Timberwolves by just a point, and then beat the Kings twice in succession before jumping out to an early lead against the Clippers in a game which is still going at the time of writing. The Jazz, in contrast, are trending in the opposite direction. They’ve now lost four on the trot to take their record to 4-11, and though the first two of those were competitive against the Suns, in their last two they’ve been demolished by the Lakers to the tune of 32 points before going down by 16 to a very mediocre Blazers side. Even without CJ McCollum, the Pelicans are a much better side than their opponent in this game, and despite the fact that they’ll be on the road, they look like a pretty juicy bet at -1.5 against the Jazz.
Dallas Mavericks @ Los Angeles Clippers
November 26, 2.30pm AEDT, Crypto.com Arena
Though the Mavericks have been one of the surprise packets of the early parts of the season, if recent results are anything to go by they appear to be regressing to the mean. Their incredibly talented back court of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving means they are always capable of putting up a big score, but if they fail to fire there isn’t a whole lot else in the way of options, and that’s a large reason that they have lost three of their last five games. The Clippers, meanwhile, after a disastrous start to life with James Harden, finally broke their duck with the addition of a third former MVP against the Rockets a few days ago and went on to win their next two, as well. At the time of writing they’re embroiled in a close game against the Pelicans, looking to make it four wins in as many games. The Mavericks have no doubt been the better team over the course of the season to date, but the respective form of these two teams is trending in opposite directions and it feels like the Clippers will begin closing the gap on their opponents in this game in the Western Conference standings. On their home turf, the Clippers should be able to win this game as a slight outsider.
