This Tuesday, Australia time, eight games will take place in the NBA, with three of the championship favourites kicking off the slate at 11am AEDT, and the struggling Warriors trying to break a six-game losing streak up against the improved Rockets rounding out the day. We’ve scoured the odds in the hope of finding the best value in the league for the day’s game, and the below is what we’ve come up with.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Washington Wizards

Bucks -9.5 |$1.95 @ PlayUp

There’s no doubt I’ve been piling onto the Wizards in this column of late, but thus far it’s proven justified and there’s no reason to change a winning formula. They’re the worst roster in the NBA and are playing like it, having lost five games in a row, and the losses are getting worse. Their last two have been by 13 points to the Mavericks and then 21 to the Knicks, and the Bucks are better than both of those sides. And making matters even worse for the Wizards, Milwaukee is really beginning to click into gear with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard at the controls after a clunky start to life together for the star duo. They’ve now won four games on the trot by an average of nearly 16 points, three of which were against fellow playoff contenders. The talent gap between these two sides is about as big as it gets in the NBA, and Giannis and Dame should have a field day en route to a big victory.

Sacramento Kings @ New Orleans Pelicans

Over 237.5 Total Match Points | $1.89 @ GetSetBet

These two teams are playing some high scoring basketball at the minute, with the Kings in particular speeding things up since De’Aaron Fox returned to the floor. After their victory over the Mavericks they’ve now surpassed this total in three of their last four games, the sole exception a game against the Lakers which fell just short with 235 points, while the Pelicans have done the same having played in three games yielding 241 points or more in their last four. The Kings’ rapid pace of play has been absent to an extent without Fox in the picture – they’re 13th in pace for the season – but since his return their style of play has notably changed and they’re 4th in the league for pace in that time. Invariably, that pace means there are a lot of points on offer for both them and opposing teams, and there is no reason to think that this game will be any different. With two high scoring teams going toe to toe, this one should be able to clear the admittedly high 237.5 total match point line.

Denver Nuggets @ Detroit Pistons

Nuggets -9.5 | $1.90 @ BlueBet

The Pistons have a really intriguing roster with a lot of interesting parts, and there is reason to be optimistic about the future of a side containing names like Cade Cunningham, Ausar Thompson, Jalen Duren and Jaden Ivey, to name just a few. For the moment, however, that future looks a long way away. After winning two of their first three games, Detroit have lost their last 11, the latest of which was a 29-point drubbing at the hands of the Raptors. Six of those 11 losses have been by double figure margins while another two were by nine, and now they face the reigning champions coming off two consecutive losses. That came after they won eight of their first nine games and nine of their first 11, and they won’t be particularly keen to continue the run of losses. The Nuggets remain one of the best teams in the league even without Jamal Murray for the time being, and in need of a win to stem the bleeding, they should be able to make the most out of a matchup against perhaps the most out of form team in the NBA.
