The Bulgarian has been seriously impressive in 2023, he is on the verge of going 4-0 in first round Slam matches this year. I see no reason for this trend to be stopped against Alex Molcan.

Gauff is coming into the US Open with two WTA titles in her home country, this should be a huge confidence booster. Siegemund is not the most effective on American hard courts.
