Our third multibet piece of Wimbledon 2024!

A certain Swiss veteran is on our radar who will be up against fellow veteran, Gael Monfils. The pair share 76 years of age on the one court but they are not short of talent and it is sure to be one of the matches of the round.

Shapovalov vs Altmaier, Men’s Singles

Shapovalov -5.5 Games @ 1.77

The Canadian was extremely impressive in his first round demolition of Chilean seed, Nicolas Jarry. However, Daniel Altmaier scraped past Brit Arthur Fery in a lung-buster, this could certainly play a role in this contest.

Osaka vs Navarro, Women’s Singles

Navarro To Win @ 1.98

Navarro was a finalist in Bad Homburg last week, she has looked comfortable on the grass and backed it up with a straight sets win in the first round. Naomi Osaka struggled to get past Diane Parry in the opening round, in a match which highlighted her vulnerable side at the moment - this is also her first Wimbledon appearance in five years!

Gauff vs Todoni, Women’s Singles

Gauff -6.5 Games @ 1.85

Huge mismatch here, Todoni is a regular on the ITF tour and she is not massively fond of the grass compared to Coco Gauff. This is also likely to be on a show court and that is something that is new to Todoni, perhaps the nerves will get the better of her.

Multi Bet of the Weekend

Cazaux vs Bublik, Men’s Singles

Over 38.5 Games @ 1.85

Nothing is ever simple with Alexander Bublik, as we all know! He progressed through from 2 sets down to win 3-2. Cazaux also battled out a five setter, both players are on a level playing field in that sense, expect to see plenty of holds and sets taken deep.

Sonego vs Bautista Agut, Men’s Singles

Sonego To Win @ 2.20

One of our favourite bets of the round here, Sonego looks a great price against the Spainard who is very solid but lacks the weapons to breeze past opponents. We struggle to see how he is a big favourite against Sonego who possesses a big forehand and respectable serve on grass.

Sinner vs Berrettini, Men’s Singles

Berrettini +2.5 Sets @ 1.58

Sinner will be unhappy that he will face Matteo Berrettini in the early stages as a first seed, he conceded a set to Yannich Hanfmann and Matteo Berrettini is more than capable on the grass being a former finalist here.

Multi Bet of the Weekend

Stephens vs Schnaider, Women’s Singles

Stephens To Win @ 2.62

We have to take Sloane Stephens at this price in a Grand Slam, she tends to up her game on the big stage compared to the regular WTA Tour. Her opponent is coming into the match with confidence, however this is purely a price play as on paper the players are much closer matched.

Zhang vs Struff, Men’s Singles

Over 40.5 Games @ 1.83

This match has the perfect recipe to last hours and really test the capacity of both players. Both players have great serves and we expect to see plenty of momentum swings in the match.

Wawrinka vs Monfils, Men’s Singles

Monfils -3.5 Games @ 1.83

We are fairly confident of Monfils progressing through here, Wawrinka’s fitness levels simply are not where they used to be and it would take some effort to back up the last match at a Grand Slam with the BO5 format. Monfils of course looks much fresher and he should have the edge here.

Multi Bet of the Weekend

A few bets we liked a lot in the piece today, two to pick out were Monfils on the minus games handicap and also Lorenzo Sonego moneyline. We would not put you off playing these as singles and even a double to compound the value. Best of luck with all bets, we will be back later this week as we take a look at the fourth round!
